What a great option! I ordered groceries one day to try Instacart out and got free delivery for my first order. I was amazed they deliver out in our rural area from my local store half hour drive away. Their personal shopper sent me text messages while he shopped to ask if I wanted a substitute as he couldn't find one item. Then he let me know when he would arrive. Contactless delivery. He put the bags on my porch. Saved me an hour of driving, gas money and time spent in the store. Now I see there are more than just grocery stores on their site. Prices are slightly higher compared to getting it directly from the store. For example instead of $1.00 on the store website, it was $1.10 through instacart. That is how they pay their shopper/driver.
