Do a direct deposit of 500 to receive the bonus. ACH transfers from other banks did not work for me even though the app said they were direct deposits. I only received the award for an actual direct deposit. If you transfer in $1000 dollars from elsewhere you do gain access to a 3% savings account ( up to 15K ) which is a great savings rate in this climate.
