How do referrals work? Referrals are a way to spread the love of Gusto with friends, family, and other businesses. Best part? Everyone gets paid! As a referrer, you will receive a $300 Visa gift card. Your referee will receive $100. How will I get paid? After your referee goes through the signup flow and pays their first payroll invoice, you’ll receive an email with your gift card from Gusto via Tremendous (r******s@r*****.**********s.com). If you refer more than one business, you will be rewarded with the additional ability to receive referral payments via direct deposits. When do I get paid? You’ll receive your gift card by email within 30-60 days after your referral has paid their first month’s invoice for payroll. Please note if your referral uses a promotion (i.e. three months free), we will not pay the referral until they have paid their first invoice (i.e. fourth month of using Gusto). What are the eligibility requirements? To be eligible for this promotion, your referral needs to sign up for Gusto through your personal referral link. The referred account must be on either: The Simple, Plus, or Premium Plan, and have processed an employee payroll. The Contractor Only plan, and have processed a contractor payment. The promotion does not apply if: They use an Accountant or Partner referral program. The company cancels their Gusto account before the referral bonus is issued. This program runs continuously throughout the year, and there isn’t an expiration date. Gusto reserves the right to declare a referral ineligible for the promotion if Gusto believes that you are abusing the referral program.
