For buying and HODLing Coinbase is okay, for daytrading use Bitvavo or Binance (fees are too high at coinbase to make a decent profit) ! Protip; watch the Coinbase Rewards movies in the home screen, it IS worth your time; about 40 euro or 50 dollar in crypto in about 45 minutes of your time, and you just might learn something about crypto in the meanwhile 😁

If you currently use Coinbase make the switch to Bitvavo ! (i did start out on Coinbase as well...) Ideal is accepted and no fees apply; transferring 100 euro from bank account to Bitvavo account means 100 euro balance in the app. For the first 1000 dollar, you don't pay fees ! After that the fees are low; 0,25% of value invested (buy 100 dollar or euro and you pay 25 cents) which make it very acceptable for both daytrading and HODLing. Staking is also available on about a dozen coins like BTC, LTC, VTHO, TRON etc. This is very much like what interest on a bank account used to be.
