It's fairly inexpensive if you only need a plan for yourself, and you can port in your existing number. Pro Tip: If you're transferring in as a first time customer, buy your plan/SIM kit on another website then redeem on Mint. Mint's website pads out their plan costs with several fees. Their referral program is extremely generous and it's pretty easy to get a year (or more) of free phone service if you have a few friends to refer. This is the big selling point of Mint in my opinion. If you keep referring people you can get a lot of free or low-cost phone service.
