I've used Fold for over a year now and it's become a favorite card of mine. It's a great way for people to get bitcoin (BTC) without the inherent risk. Fold is a Visa debit card like any other, you can fund your account in several ways: ACH, Plaid bank connect, Apple Pay, Venmo, Paypal, Direct deposit and (just introduced) instant transfer via another debit card. What makes fold different is that your rewards are given to you as Bitcoin, it also offers discounts on many gift cards and shops, a daily spin wheel with extra spins for each purchase, bonus reward for refferals, and now even a metaverse game (in beta). All the above are nice perks, but it's really Bitcoin as cash back that's the main draw, as it's the first card to offer this. One thing to note is that you must accumulate 50,000 Satoshi (0.000500 BTC) in cash back before it can be withdrawn, this is about 13 bucks today, 26 a year ago, but those ups and downs won't affect you that much. The great thing about Fold is that dollar cost averaging is automatically done for you through it's use. You get the market value of btc as cash back with each purchase, spread out over time. Also, unlike other programs to offer crypto such as paypal, which converts your crypto into cash, you can withdraw the Bitcoin as Bitcoin to your own wallet. Fold is FDIC insured, the card itself is free as well as it's use. (You can upgrade to a premium version that has an annual fee, but I don't recommend this option as it's intended for the credit card version of Fold, which hasn't been launched yet, though it does come with some extra perks, it's primarily to be put on the wait list for the credit card.) Thanks for reading, I'm hoping to write an article on different debit card programs soon, until then. ~ CryptoCoinCat
